The morning began with a gentle mist hanging over the mountains, but as the day unfolded, the skies cleared, giving way to brilliant sunlight that made every shot glow with natural beauty. The panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, valleys, and glaciers set the stage for a wedding that felt like it was happening above the world.
The Couple: Kayla and Manuel
Kayla and Manuel were radiant—inside and out. Kayla’s gown was timeless, with delicate lace details that caught the light in all the right ways. Manuel’s sharp suit and confident demeanor matched her elegance, and together they were the epitome of grace. The Ceremony: A beautiful mix of traditions
The outdoor ceremony area at the Roundhouse is like something out of a dream. Framed by alpine scenery, the ceremony took place under dramatic cloud display, with chairs arranged to give every guest a perfect view of both the couple and the majestic views behind them. Capturing their vows was an absolute joy. A beautiful and joyful jewish ceremony performed by Kayla's family and followed by the german log sawing tradition, Baumstamm sägen, where the bride and groom saw through the log together to prove their strength and teamwork as a couple. Kayla and Manuel killed it, of course!
The Reception: leave it all on the dance floor
Down in the valley Dusty's in the perfect venue for a Whistler wedding reception. After some heartfelt speeches and a delicious meal this crowd was ready for the dance floor. Epic event band Ten Souljers kicked off the night with the traditional Hora Dance which is always so incredible to capture as a photographer. Kayla and Manuel with hoisted into the air on chairs, representing a moment of pure joy and celebration.
From the stunning scenery to the undeniable chemistry between Kayla and Manuel, this wedding was a true celebration of love. It was an honuor to capture these moments, knowing that the images will serve as timeless memories for the couple and their families for years to come.
