There’s something truly magical about a summer evening in Whistler. The sun casts a warm, alpenglow on the mountaintops, and the air is filled with the sweet, unmistakable scent of alpine flowers. Against this picturesque backdrop, we had the absolute joy of capturing a sweet engagement session with Kaitlyn, Thomas, and their adorable pup, Louie.
Kaitlyn and Thomas are true Sea to Sky locals, their love story as epic as the landscapes they call home. Whistler Village, with its blend of charm and adventure, was the perfect setting to celebrate their engagement. We started our session in the forest just as the sun began its descent, casting a golden, romantic light over everything it touched.
Louie, their furry companion, was the star of the show from the get-go. With a wagging tail and boundless energy, he added a touch of playful spontaneity to the evening. Kaitlyn and Thomas shared laughs and stolen kisses as Louie explored some delightful hidden-away spots.
Our adventure began in a quaint, tucked-away forest trail, a secret gem tucked in the middle of the Whistler village. Here, Kaitlyn and Thomas twirled beneath a canopy of twinkling fairy lights, their smiles radiant against the dusky sky. The forest's trees framed their joy, creating a picture-perfect moment that felt like a scene straight out of a fairy tale.
From there, we meandered through the to the edge of Fitzsimmons Creek, finding beauty in unexpected places. A charming bridge over a babbling brook provided the ideal spot for a tender embrace. Kaitlyn and Thomas's connection was palpable, their love story unfolding naturally with every click of the camera.
Capturing Kaitlyn and Thomas's engagement in Whistler was an absolute delight.
